About this prompt
Codex takes an existing iOS screen and rebuilds it with Material 3 patterns: a top app bar, a navigation bar in place of the iOS tab bar and, if it suits the screen, a floating action button for the main action. Brand colors and type stay the same, and Codex lists every change compared with the iOS version.
Name the screen and the action that might become a floating button. The “if it fits” in the prompt is deliberate: a FAB suits a single frequent action like starting a session, not a screen whose main job is reading. If Codex keeps the iPhone dimensions, ask for 412×915, a typical Android phone. To go the other way, swap Android and Material 3 for iOS and Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.
The list of changes is useful beyond this one screen: it is effectively the rulebook for porting the rest. Run the prompt on the home screen first, check the list, then reuse it for settings, where Android and iOS differ the most.
